In 1999, after finishing my studies in law at the University of Cologne, I decided to change my profession to passion. Visual Communication. I introduced myself to the technical basics and after a 6 month practical course at an advertisement photographer, I started to assist to several photographers. They were mainly specialized in people & portrait photography for advertisement campaigns, fashion and magazines, and some also in architecture photography. I learned quite a lot while working together with these different photographers for getting a good base to develop my own photography. Today I am working first of all as a people & portrait photographer in corporate communication, advertisement and magazines. I am also addicted to landscape & travel photography. Quite a lot of my free work contains the subject of nature. In 2008, 2009 & 2010 I published by myself sucessfully regional nature calenders in an edition of 1000 pieces each. It were sold in the most bookstores in Düsseldorf. Actually, my girl friend and me are working on a book project showing the incredible landscape of Norway in all seasons. It is almost finished and we start looking for a puplisher.
In 2007 I became a member of the BFF ( BFF Berufsverband Freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter ) as a BFF Junior and since 2012 I got qualified by their Jury as a full BFF Professional Member.
